Small donations

A smaller part of the Foundation’s funds will go to making small grants in response to applications from individuals and organizations that are making an effort for the development of society in Denmark or abroad according to the general objective of the Foundation. In practice most of the small donations are also granted in accordance with the help to self help and social entrepreneurship principles.

Characteristics of a project under Small Donations: 

Normally the project budget must be below DKK 100,000. In special cases where the Board finds it appropriate this maximum can be deviated from. The project should fall under one (or more) of the five purposes: i) Scientific, ii) Humanitarian, iii) Artistic, iv) Social, v) Environment. Moreover, the duration of the project should be maximum 12 months. The project can be developed by a single person/ a group of single persons/ or an organisation – BUT the project should be designed to benefit a group of persons or society (not single persons).
