Visual design student for social innovation projects

Are you a skilled visual design student who can create engaging visual tools that support all parts of the design process? Would you like to use your skills to contribute to social innovation and the development of solutions targeting disconnected youth?


We are looking for a student assistant with strong visual communication skills for our interventions team at the ROCKWOOL Foundation. You will be a part of a competent team consisting of service designers, anthropologists, economists, sociologists and more, where we design, test and evaluate innovative solutions to important societal problems.


We are looking for a student who is currently studying either visual, service, UX, interaction or co-design, who can assist with the creation of engaging visual materials that support all parts of the design process.



About the position


You will contribute to different projects in the interventions unit and work in close collaboration with our service designers, anthropologists, program managers and more. Your tasks will be to contribute to:


  • The development, design and production of visual materials that can support user research, co-design workshops and prototyping activities.
  • Communications materials that appeal to and clearly communicate to different audiences. This includes concept visualisations, concept videos, animations, infographics etc.




Your profile


You are currently on the final part of your Bachelor’s degree or in the early stages of your Master’s degree in a design education . You have a solid understanding of the design process and a good eye for how visual materials can contribute to the facilitation of user research, co-design workshops and prototyping activities.


You are a visual thinker and a qualified user of the full Adobe package. Any experience with photography, video and sound production is a plus.


Apart from being an accomplished design student, you are an engaged person that cares about being a good coworker on the team. As a person you work in a structured manner. You thrive in an interdisciplinary environment where you contribute to our broad array of projects targeting disconnected youths.


Terms of employment

You are able to work approx. 15 hours per week. The workplace is located at the ROCKWOOL Foundation in the heart of Copenhagen. You start as soon as possible or the 1st of May 2018.
