This publication is a concluding report based on the main findings from evaluations of the pilot projects implemented by RECODA in the districts of Hai and Karatu in Northern Tanzania. The report assesses how and to what extent the new features in the spreading and implementation model might promote and/or hinder spreading of ‘the ‘basket of options’ and of groups. The report concludes that in terms of the successful formation and sustainability of groups the one year setup has been successful. However, in terms of spreading of ‘basket’ of options, the one year project setup constitutes a challenge as there is no room for trial and error which makes the project very vulnerable to unforeseen challenges and obstacles.
